I am stepping into the modern world by starting a blog.  People tell me it's a wonderful way to connect with people and get your name out.  I am still skeptical but I'll give it a shot. 

My concern here is that I really don't have much to say thats interesting, so I guess I will focus on photos of new projects, fun events or just say nothing.  Sometimes less is more.

I have to give credit to a friend "JennaLou" for getting me started with all this, I don't know whether to thank her or strangle her for pushing me over the edge of this rollercoaster.

Project for a hot August day.  So I decided I would attempt toy making...since my little guy is getting into toys.  This first whack at a bear...looks more like a mouse...don't judge me.

I was planning to give it as a gift to Jahred's cousin for a baby shower...not sure if I will.  I don't know if it's more of an heirloom or a conversation piece...maybe both.
