As summer comes to a close I find myself falling into the ways of fall.  This bag I completed a few days ago makes me think of bonfires, long jeans, wool socks and hooded sweatshirts that smell like bonfire smoke.

I'm not sure why, but I always tend to rush the seasons, reaching for the next one as if it will never get here.

I have been sewing an unusual amount lately due to many trips to the market.  I am feeling the need for a vacation.

Although I'm incredibly lucky to be staying home with my son, some days I feel like I haven't really spent time with him.  Between the stitching, running errands and trying to maintain a household, I still miss out on those quiet moments.

Vowing to improve quality time with family and friends, this fall I want to sew less yet produce more and learn to turn off the computer to take a break.

Check out my new bags in fall colors at my etsy site, or come visit me at the Mankato Farmers Market while summer still lingers.

Thanks for all the positive responses I have been getting, I really love the feedback.
