So I was thinking of something witty to say in my blog today and I still haven't come up with anything...this is loads of pressure!

I created a new "leaf bib" pattern today and I really like it.  I also purchased an infant shoe pattern from a girl on Etsy...I guess I like my own patterns better.  The shoes are cute, but not very functional...I like function.

I am really excited about a custom crib bedding order I am working on.  It will have a matching bear, bumper and skirt.  I am excited for the new little baby that will sleep next to my stitches.

I never expected to touch lives when I started sewing as a career.  There was one woman in Georgia who I made a zipper waist pouch for (to go under her clothes).  She lives in a rough neck of the woods and said the waist belt would change her life; she can stop fearing a constant threat of being mugged.  WOW...who knew.

I love my job.
